Last time you were interested in Linux Mint as an alternative to peppermint.
I have tested now Tanglu 2.0 & Fedora 21 and both of them are great.
Fedore requires a some work to have it fully operational while Tanglu runs pretty much OOB.
Personally, I prefer Fedora

I'm going to check out linux mint im buying a refurbished dell desktop soon that will come with linux mint 17 of course i will customize it to look modern and sleek (most linux distros used outdated 2000's style UI's) but as far as the OS it's self i prefer linux and mac over windows.
